Legal Stuff
The Gin Cart will be the sole provider of all drinks at the event unless previously agreed. We can obtain the alcohol license required for the event. The cost of obtaining any alcohol licence will be added to your final invoice.

Type of hire.
We have a number of ways in which you can hire The Gin Cart for your event, these are:
  • Cash Bar: The guests pay for all their own drinks
  • Pre-paid bar: All the drinks are paid for in advance and the guests pay nothing.
  • Mixture of the two: A number of the drinks are paid for in advance, after these have been consumed the guests then pay for their own drinks.
Deposits & Payments A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Once this has been received in our bank account your booking is secured. The cost of the deposit is dependent on hire type, for a cash bar we charge a standard deposit fee of £150.00. We require payment in full 7 days prior to your event.

What we need
Where possible an electricity supply of 13amps to power our equipment. A flat surface with sufficient access to the venue prior to the start of the event to set up all the necessary equipment and equally time at the end of the event to dismantle equipment and clear up is required. The Gin Cart measures: height 2.72 m width 2.18 m length 4.44 m. We are happy to liaise with any proposed venue to discuss arrival, positioning of The Gin Cart and departure.  The Gin Cart will be towed to your venue, there must be sufficient parking space at the venue for the towing vehicle to be legally parked.

Glass hire
We are happy to supply glasses for your event free of charge, though there is a breakage/loss fee of £1 per item. Frequently venues apply a ‘no glass’ policy. If this is the situation with your venue we will use polycarbonate glasses, the cost of these is included in the hiring charge. 

Challenge 25.
We operate the Challenge 25 proof of age scheme at all our bookings and we reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone who we believe to be intoxicated.
